Episode Five – The Expression: Art, Icons, Drama and Media

Episode five of the series examines how art, icons, drama, and media have been used in various times and places in the history of Christian worship for the creative expression of the faith.  In the first half of the episode, viewers will discover the beauty of visual art in worship as seen in paintings, sculpture, icons, stained glass, and architecture, plus meet a modern day iconographer who describes the inspiration process.  Part two focuses on drama and media and how worship has changed in the digital age. Viewers will meet the creative brain trust of Floodgate Productions, who produces short film clips on contemporary, faith based topics that are seen in churches nationwide each week.
