Dr. Lester Ruth
Dr. Lester Ruth is Lily May Jarvis Professor of Christian Worship at Asbury Theological Seminary and has been an adjunct professor at Tyndale Theological Seminary and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also an instructor in worship history at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Prior to teaching at Asbury, Dr. Ruth was assistant professor of Liturgical Studies at Yale University Divinity School. He holds graduate degrees from Asbury Seminary, Candler School of Theology, and the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Ruth is currently editing a multi-volume set of worship case studies from church history.
