Packer is retired Professor of Theology from Regent College of Vancouver and Executive Editor of Christianity Today. Educated at Oxford, Dr. Packer became an ordained priest in the Church of England and served as Associate Principal of Trinity College, Bristol. A prolific writer and author, Dr. Packer served as general editor of the English Standard Version and is the author ofKnowing God.
